CITY CONCESSIONARY PASSES ARE MOVING TO BROADMARSH

From 1st April 2010 City residents should apply for their concessionary travel passes from the new Broadmarsh Travel Centre at Broadmarsh Bus Station instead of from the NCT Travel Centre in the Market Square.

The move is an essential cost saving measure required to keep the concessionary travel scheme within budget. It will mean that senior and mobility impaired City residents will have their own dedicated Travel Centre and will not have to queue with other travellers.
Senior Citycard are available to City residents aged 60 and over (please note that the eligibility criteria is changing from 6th April 2010, so contact the Broadmarsh Travel Centre for more information). Mobility Citycards are available to City residents with a qualifying disability.
Broadmarsh Travel centre will be opened 9am to 5 pm Monday to Saturday. Applications, renewals and replacements for senior and mobility travel passes must be made in person. The Centre will not deal with Easyrider Citycards for adults and young persons.
The new Broadmarsh Travel Centre is easily accessible from many points in the city centre by the free Centrelink bus running every 10 minutes. The Centrelink bus stops at Victoria Centre bus station, Burton St, Angel Row and Maid Marian Way on the way to Broadmarsh bus station.
NCT Travel Centre in old Market Square will stop issuing senior and mobility passes and dealing with concessionary travel queries from 1st April 2010.
