Information for customers who want to pay for Kangaroo travel by direct debit

Direct debit is the easiest an most convient way to pay for your Kangaroo travel. Once you've vistied our travel centre, completed your madate and purchased your inital card you won't normally need to come a see us again.

Each month we'll update your card automatically once we've received your Direct Debit payment, it's as simple as that!

Step one

You'll need to complete a new direct debit mandate to allow us to collect the payment from your bank account each month together with a Citycard application form so that we can add your details to our system.

Step two

Once you've completed your direct debit mandate and application form you'll need to bring them down to our Travel Centre in the Broadmarsh bus station. We'll then process your application, you'll need to pay for your travel upto the date we take your first Direct Debit payment. We'll give you your Citycard with Kangaroo travel on the day and you can start travelling straight away.

Please note, we need at least 2 weeks notice to get your Direct Debit all set up so please don't leave your application until the end of the month.

Step three

Our direct debit provider Harlands will collect your first payment on the 1st Feburary and on or around the 1st of the month for subsequent months.

Step four

Each month, once we've received your payment we'll send you an updated citycard 3-5 days before your current card is about to expire.
